Going back to school in a week...it makes me feel sad and happy at the same time...leaving the people I like here to go see people I like there...I'm kind of used to having to leave one group of people as soon as I'm starting to open up to them. That's what made camp so hard: just when I felt comfortable around people (mostly the girls) I had to leave. Now the same thing is happening here. If anybody wants to come visit me in St. Louis, don't be shy ^.^

oh yes we have to feel ever so bad for those boarding school kids. it must be terribly hard to be away from their parents, ( i wish i could be), and to get to live with a bunch of friends like at camp but funner because it's longer- how much fun would it have been if La Zelee all went to a boarding school. we would have loads of fun. and if evelyne and i were roommates our room would be a mess. not like my room here isn't a mess.... but i'm getting it painted PINK! and then i'm going to rearrange all the furniture!~! fun! yes because we don't get to live with our friends and we have to put up with our parents instead, we get to drive our cars everywhere. i look so hot driving my jeep i must say. open the sun roof and all the music and blast some really good music- my new favs- Vacation by Simple Plan, Everytime we touch by Cascada and Hung Up by Madonna. Hung Up is definatly my favorite. it's got lots of beat and i dance to it in my car. my friend jerry makes fun of me because he saw me driving around like that and i was dancing and he said i looked stupid- but i told him his head looked stupid because it's too big for his body.... i actually don't know why we're friends because we just give each other headaches all the time.... i'll have to re-evaluate that friendship.

Hey all! I feel bad for not posting at all but my siblings broke my computer, so I've been out of the loop. I've also been incredibly busy. I've had field hockey more or less every day, sometimes as early as 6 in the morning! But I've been having a great time and I made varsity which is a big deal for me since I was a practice player last year. As busy as I've been, there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about Lac du Bois and you guys. Did anyone else have a really hard time adjusting back to life at home? Lac du Bois is such a utopian place that its so hard to come back and face real life. Oh well, at least I know I definately want to go back next year. Anyway, I hope to post more often, but it depends on my computer availability. Thanks to everyone for trying to keep in touch!

Cold. Cold, cold. Go through 11 years of public school and then get bashed as soon as you change because of crippling depression. Whatever.

AnNe SoPhIe!! i missed you!!! yeah vincent when were we talking about depression or coldness. it was actually pretty cold this morning when my dad and i played tennis. so OMG the dean got mad at the cheerleading squad because we had our shorts rolled up too many times. which is stupid. no one even cares if they're too short. but as my english teacher says it distracts boys from school- not like any of the guys at my school who are actually trying to concentrate on school work are looking at the cheerleaders. but the first home game is next friday! i'm so excited espiceially because at the assembly we looked really good!! like my basket toss went so amazingly high! it was so cool! and annie toe touched it. the only thing bad that happened is rosa's lib didn't stick... that's ok though. we still looked 10 times better than JV. guess how many freshman there are this year- 600. i have 450 in my class. this year there are 2000 kids at Senior and it was built for like 1000. it's so crowded.

my school has this rather strict dress code that they sometimes enforce. after doing swimming and crew and cross-country, however, the dress code seems kind of silly.

Wow, Danielle, your school is way more crowded than mine. We were built for about 1600 when we opened in 2000, and how have about 2000 students.
So who has school already started for? I don't start until the middle of next week, but I have all this evil summer homework that I need to finish up.
My school doesn't have a dress code, which I am happy for. The whole point of uniforms is to a) try and keep everyone wearing decent clothes, and b) to try and foster not judging people by their looks. But teenagers can be very creative, and it would just turn into different things than the clothes people wear that would be how people would be judged by. Plus it takes a lot of the fun out of shopping. ; )

School started on the 24th for me... we don't have uniforms and even if we did it'd have to be like kakis and a white polo (or other color) so that everyone can afford it- which would still let you show off like brand names which is why schools like uniforms so that everyone feels equal. i couldn't stand having to wear the same thing as everyone else because then like how do u know if you're like other people you know? like when i started high school i didn't know very many of the girls in my math class then courtney, jaucelyn and i became really good friends because we saw that we wear the same type of clothes.. and like evelyne and i bonded over the fact the i had the same outfit as she did- of course that's not all our friendship is based on but it was an icebreaker. yeah yann i'd have to agree with you about how there's like dress code during school but then some of the uniforms are digusting (wrestling... blah!). hey guess what we got a trampoline!! it's huge and really bouncy! i would be on it but my brother and his friend are which is stupid because me and my dad put it together!!

after a weekend of total vegetation, i actually did something today. i went over to my friends house and we took apart his rotten deck steps. it would have been easy if all the screws had all been able to come out, however, it was not be be. Note: the section you are about to read contains details that are only of intrest to guys.
anyway, we proceded to use hammers and crowbars to break apart any boards that wouldn't come unscrewed. finally, after many loud noises and not a little theraputic work, the deck in mort

well thanks! so we cheered our first football game tonight- of course we lost but it's so much fun! like theres a line of boys who are really just there to talk to the cheerleaders and for the social- they're in front and they help yell pretty much all the cheers! then there's like the boys who are actually there to watch the game... then in the back are the people who are just there because they have no life and aren't in any activities or anything- they're pretty boring people... like in life. and of course- the band! i hate the band because they change the tempos on us which is rude because they're making us look bad. HERE'S A QUIZ FOR YA'LL: which type of person are you? not counting the band- are you a cheerer, a football watcher or a boring back person? but OMG it was so funny this kid Chad leads the cheerers and he's so much fun but today him and a bunch of upperclassmen guys were like hey cheerleaders! (this is the cheer this was based on: Hey Senior! Hey What? Hey Senior! Hey What? Shake your boody! No way! Shake your boody! Ok! Jump shake your boody, jump jump shake your boody. jumo shake your boody jump jump shake your boody!) so he starts it and is like hey cheerleaders! and we're like hey what? and we just went through the cheer but it was really fun! don't you just love football games! oh and another funny thing: so the student section in our stadium in across from the home team side and so the cheerleaders face the away football team. and of course since they're guys they're like totally checking us out (very undiscreatly) and so me and my friend Kaitlyn were like winking to all these guys. and then baylee was being a dork and was like putting her number on her fingers- like 5 (with 5 fingers up, etc.) but it's great because we're not going to see them again! but they think we're all serious... it's cuase they're from a place called Butte... yeah it looks like butt- everyone in billings calls it butt because there's this huge like pit of toxic crap in the middle of it... yeah so i had a great night!! :-)!! how about everyone else? ;-*
